De’arra is a famous content creator on YouTube who has garnered over one million subscribers on her channel. Her content mostly falls under the lifestyle category, but she also produces cooking, beaty, home, and fashion content as well. Over the years, she has cultivated a strong and genuine bond with her viewers by being relatable and engaging with them on all her social platforms. She hosts Q&A’s where her fans get to ask her questions and she will answer and shout them out on her page, which allows for her to create a personal bond with her followers. In most of her videos, she runs into fans while she is out running errands, she never hesitates to give them a hug and let them take pictures with her. De’arra has done a great job creating an authentic brand by letting her viewers get a glimpse of her unfiltered lifestyle. She openly shares her experiences, whether they are successes or setbacks, and this really sets her apart from most influencers who usually keep a facade in front of the camera. I think for black women specifically, De’arra is a role model for a lot of us by showing that we can still authentically be ourselves while being successful. This is personal to me which is why I will always be a fan of De’arra.
